Mission Statement: To divert at least 50% of the waste stream from landfills, because "...there are better places for education and health care dollars than filling a hole in the ground."

Volunteer Projects: When the students move out we work with local non-profit charitable organizations to divert reusable clothing, equipment and non-perishable food into their hands and the hands of their clients. We work closely with student organizations on environmental issues. Our Division has taken an active roll in regional municipal solid waste and recycling issues.
