Mission Statement: The Wildlife Center of Virginia is the nation's leading teaching and research hospital for native wildlife. Each year we provide thousands of injured and orphaned animals with veterinary care, free of charge, with the hopes of returning them to the wild. Additionally, our medical staff trains veterinarians, veterinary students, and wildlife rehabilitators, while our education team presents hundreds of environmental education programs to children and adults, all with the hope of protecting wildlife and the environment. The Wildlife Center is located in Waynesboro, Virginia, and is a non-profit 501-c-3 organization.
